The present invention provides a technique of embedding the natural fibers in latex which not only increases the durability of fibers but also commercial coir products are available in the market. This invention is an alternative to polymeric sheets in geosynthetics which is sustainable, biodegradable, cost-effective and can be used for pavement design. The CFLC sheet is made of natural fibres which merge with the soil after the design life of the flexible pavements and thus, no harm is caused to the environment.
