ICCC 2010 (18-20 February 2010): International Conference on Control Communication & Computing (ICCC) 2010 is being organized by College of Engineering Trivandrum, Kerala, India as a part of its 70th year celebrations. The conference is intended to provide a platform for effective interaction between pioneers and researchers in the relevant area to share their innovative and creative views and to present their original contributions. This Conference is organized by Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, MCA and Computer Science.

IMMM 2010 (14-16 January 2010): The quest for meeting the necessities of the rapidly increasing population has led to revolutionary construction and production technologies aiming at optimum management of natural resources. These technological innovations should deliver flexible and adaptable building space and productivity without over-exploiting the environment beyond their regenerative limits, together with improving the quality of human life. The conference provides a platform for Researchers, Academicians, Engineers and Scientists to bring about their original contributions in to the field of Materials, Mechanics and Management.

MS '09 INDIA (1-3 December 2009): International Conference on Modeling and Simulation MS'09 India is co-organised by Association for Advancement of Modeling and Simulation techniques in Enterprises (AMSE) and college of engineering Trivandrum (CET) in Kerala, India. The conference will provide a forum for researchers, experts and engineers to discuss research ideas, exchange knowledge and practice, and review advancements in related topics.

NCTT 2009 (6-7 November 2009): College of Engineering, Trivandrum organizes National Conference on Technological Trends in every year and the 10th conference was held on 6 th & 7th of November 2009. The conference is intended to create a common platform for research scholars, industrialists, academicians, engineers and scientists to share and exchange their knowledge and views. NCTT is expected to expose the recent trends and developments in different fields of engineering, which would promote intellectual and creative abilities to address the problems of regional and national relevance.

NAPEC 09 (8-9 October 2009): The National Conference on Modern Trends in Power Engineering & Power Plants aims to provide a national level platform for researchers, academicians, participants from R & D Organizations, Technical Institutes, Power Utilities, Power Plants and Industries to discuss recent research results, share and experience new ideas and identify future directions for Research & Development in all areas of Power Engineering & Power Plants and to discuss their implementation & applications to the existing and future power systems & plants.

SPEED IT (30, September 2009): The SPEED IT Programme (Special Post Graduate Education Expansion Drive in IT) was inagurated by Sri. V.S. Achuthanandan, Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, precided by Sri. M.A. Baby, Honourable Minister for Education & Culture, Sri. M. Vijayakumar, Honourable Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Kuncheria P Isaac, Director of Technical Education, Dr. Ajaya Kumar, IAS, Secretary to Govt. Department of IT, Sri. Kuruvila John, IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt. Department of Higher Education, Dr. J. Letha, Principal, CET.

AAVISHKAR (10-13 September 2009): A workshop on Power Electronics was conducted by Mr. Dinesh Gopinath, Electrical and Electronics Department. The workshop was conducted at the Power Electronics Lab.
 
 

Workshop on Self Compacting Concrete by Ms. Mini Soman, Civil Department, was held at the Concrete Lab. It was an interactive workshop with around 40 students participating.
